The Milford Mustang cheerleading program was founded to promote a recreational cheerleading program with a major emphasis on fun, teamwork, and competitive sportsmanship. Our cheerleading program is led by our Cheerleading Director, who is a member of our Board of Directors. The cheerleading coaches are a dedicated group of people who volunteer their time and talents to coordinate each cheerleading squad.
There are no tryouts and all girls registering are rostered on a team. Cheerleaders perform every Saturday during the football season. Games will be starting August 21st, through October 23rd. They will participate in LCACC Cheer Competition October 10th. The cheerleaders may also participate in other league approved functions, such as Milford High School games, and parades.
Milford Mustang cheerleading squads range in 2nd- 8th grades. Squads are made up as follows: 2nd graders are Instructional 3-4th grades are Freshman 5-6th grades are Junior Varsity
The league will supply your daughter with a uniform, and pompons, these items will need to be returned to the league at the end of the season. Additional costs for cheer wear will apply.
Practices will begin Monday, August 2nd. The girls will practice up to four nights a week until our first game. Once school begins our practice times will change upon the coach’s discretion. |
